It was nearly three weeks ago that Augie took his first solo steps; a few days later, he strung a few together to walk a couple feet; a week ago, we noticed that he had started walking more than crawling; and today - well, he's been on his feet all day. He barely crawled. I guess this means we've reached the point of no return. (Well, technically we reached it in March 2012...)
