Easter egg hunts

We had two fun Easter egg hunts on Sunday - one here at home, and one with our (American) friends. It was so windy in the morning at our place that we all just wanted to head inside as quickly as we could.

Our friends have a lovely backyard without so much exposure, so it was a bit warmer at theirs in the afternoon.

I don't want to sound like an ass, but this kid is an amazing dribbler:

Leif loves ears

Nothing makes Leif more comfortable than holding onto someone's ears. As a little baby he'd always hold on to his own for comfort, which made us wonder if he had an ear infection or toothing pain. As he got older and started doing it to us, we realized it was a comfort thing. When either of us is lying down with him in bed, he'll immediately roll onto his side and grab onto our ears. It's so, so sweet.

A morning in Vaxholm

On a whim this morning we decided to catch the local ferry to Vaxholm, a picturesque town just across the water from us with a fun playground. The boys enjoyed it all, and we were thrilled to have spent a day outside in the sun. We're dreaming of summer now...

We "played" mini golf at Vaxholm. It mostly involved climbing everything and throwing the balls into holes.
