Helping Granddad

August puts tractors high on his list of best things in the world. He loves every kind of truck, tractor, bulldozer ("bozer"), crane truck, dump truck, cement mixer ("mexi-mikker"), and thing that goes vroom-vroom. So imagine how much he loved driving Granddad's tractor!

He didn't mind feeding the chickens, but it certainly wasn't his favorite thing.

Extended family at South Beara

When we arrived in England, James's aunt Tina and cousin Kevin were at South Beara waiting for us. I think the boys loved playing with them. Well, once Leif warmed up to all the new people. He sort of freaked out when we got there and wouldn't stop crying whenever anyone other than me or James tried to engage him or hold him. By the second day he seemed pretty much happy with everyone.

We don't have many pictures of August with anyone, as he rarely sat still, as per usual.

Leif and his great uncles

It was a joy to introduce Leif to the rest of the family and the rest of the family Leif. My uncles came to visit for a day and we were so glad to see them.

Getting ready to go

We're heading home tomorrow (if we don't miss our flight again!), and I'm trying to post more pictures from our two weeks here. Sorry about the low resolution on these.

Silliness with cousins

I still have a lot of photos of August and Leif and the cousins to share, even though they left a week ago. I have a feeling it will take a while to get them all posted.

August at the Air Zoo

So, we're supposed to be back home in Stockholm now, but we missed our flight (James's flight from Portland to Chicago was delayed 5 hours, arriving just after our international flight left). So we have another few days in Kalamazoo, as the first flight we could get back home is on Monday.

Last week Grandma and Grandpa took all the kiddos (and Uncle Ben) to the Air Zoo while I drove to Indiana to visit my dear friend Sabrina.

Cousin time

Both boys, and especially August, are enjoying their time with cousins. Ben and his kids left today, but we'll have more time with my cousins and their kids in the next few days.

We're in Michigan visiting my family, and we're so busy with kids--and exhausted from the flight and jet lag--that blogging hasn't really been on my mind. But I'll try to get a few pictures up in the next week anyway.
