A sunny day with the dumpling

 Yesterday was gorgeous - sunny skies, crisp air, a calm sea - and Leif and I spent a lot of time wandering and playing outside. I had the loveliest of days with him.

Today is just as beautiful but I'm heading in to work. I did take a quick walk before sunrise though: 

Pepparkakor with Agneta

Yesterday afternoon we went to Agneta and Henrik's home to bake pepparkakor (and drink glögg!). It's a Christmas tradition here to bake them before Lucia. August had fun using the cookie cutters to press shapes out of the dough, Leif had fun grabbing handfulls of dough and shoving them in his mouth, and Koster the dog had fun licking Leif's face and hands! (James and I particularly like the glögg).

Well, we went to the store for many things, but Leif only has eyes for raisins. You can see that he's rearranging the shelves here.

One of the öppna förskola we go to is held at a church a few kilometers out of town. We still wanted to play after it ended yesterday so Leif and I wandered around the grounds. It was a grey but beautiful day.
